Below-average winter crops condition in China during the first half of February, 2018February 28, 2018 Winter wheat was at overwintering to jointing stage. Crop condition was average in most of winter wheat planted area but was below average in northern Anhui, southern Henan and central Hubei, which may be due to relatively low temperature. Rapeseed was at stem elongation to bolting period. Crop condition was overall below average. Affected by cold and rainy weather and concurrently low radiation, poor rapeseed situation occurred in Southwest China, involving eastern Sichuan and Chongqing. |
